Race Day - Important Times: 

6:40-6:50 AM
Instructions, Prayer & Anthem -
Congregate in the Magik Theater parking lot pre-race.  OnPaceRace pacers will be lined up with their Pace Signs for BOTH The ALAMO 13.1 HALF and ALAMO MARATHON.

3:30 / 3:45 / 4:00 / 4:10 / 4:20 / 4:30 / 4:45 / 5:00 / 5:15 / 5:30 / 6:00

PARKING

Parking info: Public parking is available at:  https://www.sanantonio.gov/CCDO/parking/parkingmap.

Metered street parking on Sundays is free. Federal lot on Cesar Chavez charges at their kiowsk.

 

BATHROOMS

Race Day portables behind Magik Theater along with restrooms in Yanaguana Garden park just past portables.

OTHER INFO

  • Race bibs need to be placed on the front easily visible for tagging your photos and for best readability of your official timing chip. 

  • Please no running or biking escorts on course. 

  • Please leave your race bandit pal &/or pet at home.

FREE Phone Tracker App

This race offers a tracker app so your family and friends can know where you are on the course.

​

  • Download the ACTIVE Experience app from the app store (Google or Apple store):

  • Tap the tile for RUN THE ALAMO | 2025

  • For spectators wishing to track a participant:

    • Navigate to the people tab

    • Tap “Find Participants”

    • Log in with ACTIVE account

    • Search for the participant you wish to track and tap the “follow” button

    • Make sure that the person you’ve requested to follow accepts the request through the app. This can be done by clicking the 3 dots in the top right of the screen and tapping “Friends request”

  • For participants wishing to be tracked:

    • Navigate to the people tab

    • Log in as a participant

    • Tap the toggle next to your name. This will turn on the GPS tracker. The screen will now show “GPS progress tracker is on” at the top. This must be on in order to be tracked.

    • Accept / reject any follow requests by tapping the 3 dots at the top right of the screen and tapping “Friends request”
