Bag Check

We will have a dry, safe Bag Check area on the in WHITE RACE HQ TENT on the north end of Civic Park

PLEASE make sure you put your name and Bib# on your bag CLEARLY. 

Race Day - Important Times: 

6:40-6:50 AM
Instructions, Prayer & Anthem -
Congregate in the Magik Theater parking lot pre-race.  OnPaceRace pacers will be lined up with their Pace Signs for BOTH ALAMO 13.1 and ALAMO 26.2.

PARKING

Parking info: Public parking is available at:  https://www.sanantonio.gov/CCDO/parking/parkingmap.

Metered street parking on Sundays is free. Federal lot on Cesar Chavez charges at their kiowsk.

 

BATHROOMS

Race Day portables in SE part of Civic Park in the Mexican Culture Institute quadrangle along with restrooms in Yanaguana Garden Park.

OTHER INFO

  • Race bibs need to be placed on the front easily visible for tagging your photos and for best readability of your official timing chip. 

  • Please no running or biking escorts on course. 

  • Please leave your race bandit pal &/or pet at home. â€‹â€‹

​FREE Phone Tracker App

This race offers a tracker app so your family and friends can know where you are on the course.

​

    • Download the ACTIVE Experience app

    • Tap the Run the Alamo tile (should be at the very top of the listed events

    • Tap the menu icon (3 horizontal bars)

    • At the bottom, tap the sign in option

    • Log in with ACTIVE login. Both participants wishing to be tracked AND spectators wishing to track participants must log in

    • For those wishing to track a runner

    • Navigate to the people menu and tap “Find Participant”

    • Search for the participant

    • Tap the “Follow” button next to the participant

    • Note that it may take 15 minutes after a participant registers to show up in the search

    • The runners wishing to be tracked will receive a notification in their app. They must approve the request in order to be tracked

    • The runner wishing to be tracked must also make sure that their phone has GPS enabled AND that the app has the GPS tracker turned ON

    • Before starting the race, the participant being tacked should open the app and make sure that the tracker is on.

    • ests by tapping the 3 dots at the top right of the screen and tapping “Friends request”
