ALAMO 13.1 HALF - Saturday, April 10th, 11-5 @ Hemisfair @ the Pavilion by Hilton, 300 S. Alamo. Defenders line up OUTDOORS in the fresh spring air & file through indoors in small numbers smiling to claim their historic packet.


NEW public parking is now available at the Hemisfair Garage at The '68, just steps away from our RUN THE ALAMO venue. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes! After that, you'll pay only $1 for every half hour, with a maximum of $18 for all day play. City Lots are HERE.  Street metered and non-metered free parking to the south about 2 blocks in King William Historic Neighborhood.

LOADS of room in Hemisfair to social distance apart to keep everyone safe & healthy with restrooms just south a few feet in Yanaguana park.

Alamo 3.1/6.2 Doughnut Dash is postponed. We are looking forward to holding the 2021 Alamo 3.1/6.2 Doughnut Dash later this year! We are diligently working very closely with the city of San Antonio to put on this race. The city is carefully monitoring the pandemic and will be guiding us to which dates will safely work out for all our wonderful runners and staff!

Race Day - Important Times: 

6:25-6:35 AM
Instructions, Prayer & Anthem -
START/FINISH on E. Nueva ONE BLOCK EAST of S. Alamo heading towards The Tower of Americas in small pods of 20 runners each by your pace time.  OnPaceRace pacers will be spread out with signs so as to choose your pod.

6:45 AM
Multiple Musket Volley & LIVE cannon START!!

5AM-6:40AM:Please get Health Checked FIRST in Magik Theater parking lot at S. Alamo & Nueva. Once approved, head  You'll head towards the Tower ON THE RIGHT SIDE of the historic buildings so as to line up with the Tower at your back on the Main Tower path. There are portable potties near the Tower as well as a park bathroom. Line up in socially distanced pods of 20 each ACCORDING to your pace time again with your back to the Tower.  You will be facing west towards the Start Line near Alamo St. where it normally is. ONPACE Race PACER GROUPS will have their pace signs to assist in where your pace would line you up in your small pod of 20.

Street parking on Sundays is free nearby within a few blocks in the lovely, nearby King William Historic District. Federal lot on Cesar Chavez sometimes has parking spots.



Race Day portables near The Tower AND restrooms to the right of the Tower and a park restroom just south of Magik Theatre in Yanaguana Garden park.


  • Race bibs need to be placed on the front easily visible for tagging your photos and for best readability of your official timing chip. 

  • Please no running or biking escorts on course. 

  • Please leave your race bandit pal &/or pet at home.
