CANCELLATION POLICY
Purpose Racing (PR) does not offer refunds. No refunds is an industry standard, but at PR we strive for satisfied customers, so we have a few options to help protect and preserve your registration. Deadline is Saturday, February 22nd, 2025!

1. Race Insurance when you register via ACTIVE REFUND is encouraged for runners that may have a change in plans or an unexpected injury pops up.

2. Defer Registration to another event within 1 year of registered event for a nominal fee of $45. (MUST BE DONE AT LEAST 1 WEEK PRIOR TO RACE DAY).
** GO TO YOUR EMAIL RACE CONFIRMATION FROM ACTIVE. LOG INTO YOUR RACE UNDER "MY EVENTS" TO DEFER **
*** ENTRY FEES HAVE NO REFUNDS – Race is RAIN OR SHINE ***
Due to the nature of running events taking place generally in the outdoors, weather conditions can play a large role in the production of the event. Because a significant amount of the funds collected during registration have been expended by the day of the event for the production of the event and because each event is uniquely scheduled for its date and location, registration refunds are not possible and rescheduling the event is not possible, and thus the no refund policy.

Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.
The COURSE – 13.1 and 26.2
We are excited to treat you to what we believe to be one of the most scenic running courses around. Our historic course takes in THE best that San Antonio, The Alamo City, has to offer; showcasing the cultural icons and businesses that reflect the wonder and deep cultural roots of our glorious city.

Course Time Limits: You will have plenty of time to complete RUN THE ALAMO 13.1 course with a 4 HOUR TIME LIMIT. This is an easy 18 min. mile pace. Those FIGHTING TO THE FINISH in our ALAMO MARATHON on March 2nd, 2025, have 7 scenic hours to finish AND MUST MAKE THE PADRE DR. & PYRON AID STATION BY 11AM to keep the 16 minute per mile pace to finish in 7 hours. If not, they will turn to the historic Hot Wells out & back section and then to the Finish.

We’ll have plenty of Aid Stations every 1.0 – 1.5 miles stocked with plenty of fresh water & electrolytes to replenish you.
