HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Personal responsibilities will be communicated to athletes, staff, volunteers, vendors, and sponsors prior to the event.

Our best practices will continue to evolve based on the knowledge available to us at the time.

Pre-Event screening of all staff, vendors, participants, and volunteers by professional healthcare providers with National Set Medics.

Increased safety and hygiene practices for staff and volunteers including the use of masks, gloves, and regular hand sanitization.

Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the event including more in higher traffic areas, and in and around portable toilets. Reduced touch points, if any to minimize physical interactions.

Racers will first go to Health Check In at Hemisfair's Magik Theater parking lot near the Start / Finish Line.
Follow all Health & Safety signs at the race.
After receiving your health check approval, head towards the Tower on the right side of the historic buildings/Park Police HQ to wrap around to be in the Pre-Race line on the main Tower path facing away from the Tower.

You'll gather in Small Pod Groups of 20 runners next to a traffic cone by pace time. OnPaceRace will have Pace Signs to give you an idea on where you can line up. Small Pods will move towards Start Line as the Race Start begins at 6:45am with each Small Pod starting every 10 seconds to provide safe, spread out running.
While on course, please slow at Aid Stations to grab your own water or gatorade cup and then proceed to throw your used cup in a garbage box past the Aid Station. Human to human contact is not allowed so save your high fives for when we are in the clear on all this. Thank you.

There'll be no post race celebration or awards ceremony so as to not gather in a large group. Though plenty of tasty TO GO post race snacks will be hand just past the Finish corral for our fine finishers.
